What Broadcom products make use of the PPI (Program-to-Program Interface) and what commands can be issued against those products to see if they are using the PPI?

Resolution

To find out which Broadcom products use PPI you can issue the SOLVE/NetMaster commands SHOW PPIUSERS and  SHOW  SSISTATS.

For example:

Function: Displays PPI user details.                                           
                                                                               
Syntax:   SHOW  PPIUSERS                                                       
                                                                               
Use:      The SHOW PPIUSERS command displays a list of Program-to-Program      
          Interface (PPI) users. This list shows various statistics about those
          users.                                                               
                                                                               
          An authority level of 0 is required to execute this command.         
                                                                               
Operands: PPIUSERS                                                             
              Displays a list of PPI users.                                    
                                                                               
Examples: SHOW PPIUSERS                                                        
                                                                               
Notes:    The system connected to the SOLVE SSI that is providing PPI          
          services can process this command only.        

 

Syntax:   SHOW  SSISTATS                                                
                                                                        
Use:      Displays statistics from the SOLVE Subsystem Interface (SSI). 
                                                                        
          An authority level of 0 is required to execute this command.  
                                                                        
Operands: SSISTATS                                                      
              Displays SSI statistics.

In the SH SSISTATS there is a section on the PPI and storage
