New Web VPM claims the request header (type set value) to be too long (picture attached). There isn't same message in the old JAVA based VPM. Has something changed in the new VPM? Or possibly a bug? Is there a limitation in request header length?
Release : ISG-Proxy & SG/ASG
Issue confirmed in the below.
With the Web VPM, on the SGAC (7.3.12.1):
With the Legacy VPM, on 7.3.12.1:
For the same number of characters used, the Web VPM has a limit of 1024 characters allowed, the legacy VPM showed no such limitation and would allow more, and more characters.
The reported Request header length limitation, with the new Web VPM, has been fixed, in WebVPM 2.1.6.
Now the max limit of Control Request Header Set Value has been set to be 8060 characters which is the max that can be done via Web VPM.
