Issue/Introduction

We want to migrate the settings from one EG to another EG but running into this error message.

 

Environment

Release : Enterprise Gateway - 9.9.2

Resolution

The error indicated in the screen shot comes for two reasons:

  • If you are trying to import the settings from an Enterprise Gateway running on Linux to Windows or vice versa.
  • If you are trying to import the settings from Enterprise Gateway which is tied to one Jrhash/jhash but importing in the Gateway which is tied to another Jrhash/jhash.

Either of the above situations you have to re-configure the Gateway as per your need. Below documentation talks about the configuration and limitations.
