Issue/Introduction

After installing JasperReports 8.1/8.2, when logging into the application UI it shows the below warning message.

Note: Your License will expire on YYYY-MM-DD

Environment

Release : Identity Governance 14.X

                Identity Manager 14.X

                JasperSoft 8.1

                JasperSoft 8.2

Cause

The JasperSoft installer is packaged with 2 licenses. One is a short term license while the other is a long term license.

Resolution

Short term License location:

\Symantec-iga-jasperreports-server-8.2.0\jasperreports-server-pro-8.2.0-bin\jasperserver.license

Copy the long term license (jasperserver.license) from:

iga-jasperreports-server-8.1\brcm-imag-config\conf

or

\Symantec-iga-jasperreports-server-8.2.0\jasperreports-server-pro-8.2.0-bin\brcm-imag-config\conf

Stop the JasperReports service

Replace:

\apache-tomcat\webapps\jasperserver-pro\jasperserver.license

Start the JasperReports service
