Issue/Introduction

You observed that newly deployed CWP Unix Agents are assigned to the Symantec Default AntiMalware Policy Group instead of expected Symantec Default Policy Group Unix

 

Environment

Release : 1

Cause

This issue can occur if some of the policies were removed from Symantec Default Policy Group Unix and recommendation system rules weren't re-generated after the removal. 

Resolution

  1. Edit Symantec Default Policy Group: Unix 
  2. Navigate to Recommendation Rules 
  3. Click re-generate system rules button 
  4. Click Next and Save button
