Incorrect display of decimal places in Jaspersoft Dashboard

Issue/Introduction

New number formats have been introduced by making changes to the adhoc_masks.properties file in the Jaspersoft Server. We notice that in Jaspersoft Server 7.8, these custom formats display correctly in Adhoc Views. However, they do not display as defined when included in Dashboards.

• Jaspersoft Server 7.8
• Jaspersoft Server 8.1.1
• Jaspersoft Server 9.0.0

Resolution

Making file level changes to Jaspersoft Server is not supported, unless mentioned otherwise for certain purposes. Especially while introducing custom formats, there are other considerations such as locale that govern the behaviour of the combined Clarity PPM - Jaspersoft integration.
