Cannot access some servers receive error 127.0.0.200 timeout

Issue/Introduction

 

Can't connect to a Linux server using the built in SSH via FQDN. Connection times out.

Using the IP address which corresponds to the same FQDN, connection to the target server is successful. 

 

 

Environment

Release : 4.0.1

Cause

xcd_spfd.log file is showing error below: 

2023-02-27 16:41:49 2383139 ERROR init: Unable to open connection to BER xxxxxxxx.com:22

Resolution

On PAM GUI add FQDN and IP Address to the Host File Entry:

Configuration/Network/Host File Entry/Add

 

 

Before trying the connection from the Access page, "Restart Session" (same page), then connect.
