Access Gateway in the 12.8.07 release doesn't initialize the Security Token Service (STS) after upgrade.

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading the CA Access Gateway to 12.8.07 release, STS will not initialize.

Errors in " nohup.out " log file:

Message Servlet.init() for servlet [STSServlet] threw exception

Description The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request.

Environment

Release : CA Access Gateway (Secure Proxy Server) 12.8.07
JAVA Component: AdoptOpenJDK 11

Cause

This is a known issue with CA Access Gateway (Secure Proxy Server) 12.8.07 release and Adopt OpenJDK 11.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in version 12.8.08.

If a customer is experiencing this issue and has a requirement to be on JDK 11 and is not able to upgrade, open a support case to get assistance.

As a workaround, customer can use AdoptOpenJDK 8.
