SCRT report created has incorrect data.

Issue/Introduction

I have created the SCRT report for February 2023.   When I look at the report, it does NOT have the month FEB 2-28 data.  I verified the SMF files and they are correct.

The report shows the following information...Take note of Run Date and Reporting Period.

IBM ISV SCRT Reporting

Cause

If the SMF data spans multiple months the SCRT reporting tool will pick the month with the most data which may not be the expected month.

Resolution

Use the parm Report_Period to force SCRT to report on the period you want. You will find the following lines in the CAISCRT JCL we provide. Uncomment and use accordingly.

* OPTIONALLY UNCOMMENT ONE OF THESE LINES TO SELECT A REPORT PERIOD
* Report_Period=YYYY/MM
* Report_Period=Last_Month
