We are getting the error 'Http failure during parsing for https://autosys-test.examplecompany.example.net/wcc/quick-edit/rest/commit' when attempting to create/update a job using Quick Edit in Web UI, specifically when log file attributes are being defined that do not contain either > or >> at the beginning of the path. eg.
std_out_file: /tmp/file.out
Has there been any change to this attribute between 12.0 and 12.1?
We had a very similar issue when loading JIL via the ECLI, but this was resolved by tuning the network traffic security policies. However, I believe this was going via our RestAPI F5 loadbalancer, whereas the Quick Edit seems to be going via the Web UI F5 loadbalancer.
Are you able to advise on the differences between JIL being loaded via Quick Edit vs ECLI?
The http error is being reported in a pop up error, are there any logs where we can find more information about the issue?
Release : 12.1
Found that the Quick Edit instructions were being blocked by the Network Traffic security rules. These rules have now been tuned to resolve the issue.
