Copy product authorizations from one user to another within Database Management Solutions for Db2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

When using the Database Management Solutions for Db2 for z/OS suite of products, often a user requires the same product
authorization as already defined for another user. How can product authorizations be copied from one user to another?

Resolution

Steps to follow to copy authorizations:

1. Select option A Product Authorizations from the Database Management Solutions for Db2 for z/OS Products Main Menu.
2. Enter the userid that already has the authorities into the FROM ID field.
3. Enter the userid that will receive the authorities into the TO ID field.
4. Use line command C to copy authorizations for specific product(s)  or type COPY in the Command field to copy all.
   Press <ENTER>. The user authorizations are copied. Note: The Replace Auth, Accum To, and Accum From fields affect how the user authorities are copied.
