attribute does not appear in list when creating a global collection.

Issue/Introduction

I am working with a customer that wants to build a global collection around the attribute locifDesc(0x2103fd). The attribute appears on the devices when selected in spectrum, but a matching attribute can not be located in the list when creating a global collection.

Environment

Dx NetOps Spectrum any version

Cause

locifDesc(0x2103fd) is a list attribute

Resolution

This is functioning as designed.  When you do a locator search or global collection search you cannot use list attributes - and where you see the type the [] indicates its a table/list/instanced attribute
