Getting Authentication failure logging in to NetOps Portal and we know the password is correct
Login failure with correct password and username
In DX Performance Center, our admin account has been disabled and we need to re-enable the account for access. Myself is an admin user but not allowed to enable the admin account.
The default system admin user was set to 'Disabled' in the past. Logging in as a user with the Administrator Role assigned doesn't allow us to enable the admin user. The Disabled field when editing the admin user shows as greyed out. There is no drop down to set it from Disabled to Enabled. We see the following in the UI when editing the admin user.
All supported Network Observability DX NetOps Performance Management Portal web server releases
Users login was disabled.
In order to allow the admin user to be enabled we first need to enable it from the Portal web server CLI using the SsoConfig command.
Standard users may also encounter this and may require the same steps if not able to enable them through the Portal web UI.
To enable the user through the SsoConfig command open a terminal to the Portal web server CLI.
Navigate to the (default path shown) /opt/CA/PerformanceCenter directory.
Run the command "./SsoConfig" and enter option 1 for 'DX NetOps'.
Next enter the option for "Enable or Disable a user account." and then enter the user name to be enabled when prompted. Choose to enable it.
Once completed the UI user, after refreshing the UI Manager Users page, should be able to be set to Enabled for use.
