TMODBL00 Job parameter incorrect

Issue/Introduction

Job failing with  "IECTMS3 E278,P19059,IS NOT SCRTCH (64)" even though the jobname is coded in the TMODBL00 member. 

 

Environment

Release : 14.0

Cause

The first character in the jobname specified in the TMODBL00 member was '#'.

CA 1 considers '#' as a pattern masking character, so jobname is not being recognised and TMODBL00 processing is not applied.

Resolution

Precede the first character of the jobname with a backslash '\' ie:

change: #JOBABC  to  \#JOBABC

Then restart TMSINIT to ensure the change is picked up.
