Issue/Introduction

Unattended MacOS NMP Installs are currently only support through Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM).

The MacOS NMP does not support unattended deployments via JAMF, and if used it will not properly deploy the MacOS NMP.

Resolution

It is possible to still use JAMF to deploy the MacOS NMP however it requires manual steps to bring the MacOS Online and have it connect to AppNeta.

1. Download the nis.config for your Organization (Steps can be found here: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/240444)

2. Place the nis.config into the appropriate location on the MacOS machine: 

/Library/Application Support/AppNeta/config/nis.config

or

/Library/AppNeta/config/nis.config

3. Restart the MacOS NMP which should be accessible from the Menu Bar:
