Issue/Introduction

When analyzing an Recovery Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PRA) strategy online or batch, it fails with many errors;

Sev Err  TS  TSxxxxxxxx 0001  xxxxxxxx                   -DISPLAY CA failed
Sev Err  TS  TSxxxxxxxx 0001  xxxxxxxx                   -DISPLAY CA failed

Resolution

These errors are due to the lack of authorization to the following:

a. Grant select on the restart table
b. Not AUTHORIZED TO EXECUTE PLAN  DGL1xxxx

To confirm this, please try the following;

From the main Menu, 

Enter C 

then -DISPLAY CA(*) command

Shows the authority error you need to address.
