UIM - Deprecated Manifest version for e2e_appmon nimrecorder chrome extension

Issue/Introduction

After installing the e2e extension on chrome, the following error message is displayed: 

Manifest version 2 is deprecated, and support will be removed in 2023. [...] 

 

 

 

Environment

Release : 20.4

e2e_appmon probe version: 2.52

 

Cause

The manifest version "2" is deprecated and all extensions that use this version will be removed from the chrome store in 2023.

Resolution

This issue will be addressed in the next nimrecorder version.
