Select Alternate Interface items for Group Rule in NetOps Portal

Issue/Introduction

I don't see Alternate Interface as an option for group rules.  We use Alternate Interface for our F5's and I need to build a large group.

When creating a custom Group in DX NetOps Performance Management Portal web UI, the Alternate Interface item type isn't available when setting up a Rule for the Group.

How can we add Alternate Interface items as members of a Group in DX NetOps Performance Management Portal?

Environment

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases

Cause

Alternate Interface items are treated as Device Component items.

Resolution

To find and add them as members of the Group select the Device Component Item Type.
