Issue/Introduction

Receiving the following error when upgrading to Automation Point 11.7:

Error: Unable to access jarfile E:\PROGRA~2\CA\CAAUTO~1\classes\RequestService.jar

Resolution

We no longer deliver the requestservice with AP 11.7 because it's not supported by Windows after Windows 2012...

With AP 11.7 SP1, Tomcat is no longer used.  It has been replaced by NodeJS which is delivered by AP 11.7 SP1, and can be installed via the AP Configuration Manager, under third party software.

The RequestService is replaced by Curl for ticketing.
In the past you needed to use NIM-SM, but we also made that requirement obsolete and now creating tickets should be done via Curl.
