Issue/Introduction

I'm just wondering if there are procedures for uninstalling the R11.3 Scheduler/App Server/WCC/EEM for server decommission purposes.

Environment

Autosys 11.x 12.x

Resolution

There are a couple of options.

Options 1:
You could just go to the /opt directory and delete the CA folder or whatever is your installation location if it is on Linux or windows.

Option 2:
Most clients do not uninstall the software from machines that are being decommissioned.
If they need to make sure nothing is left on the machine before disposal I would suggest your system admin use a disk utility to properly format the drive with all 1's and then all 0's several times to make sure nothing can be recovered.
