Unix OS Agent 21.0.5 not activable in Client 0 with Company Key, once connected to a 21.0.5 system.

Issue/Introduction

SQL and Linux Agents are unable to connect to the Engine.
Authentication mode is set to LOCAL

Messages taken from the Linux Agent log file can show this kind of error messages.

Agents in version 21.0.4 can connect without any problem to the engine with the same Authentication mode (LOCAL or LOCAL_REMOTE)

 

Environment

Automation Engine and Agents in version 21.0.5 

Cause

This is a defect of the Automation Engine 21.0.5 : Agents are unable to connect to the Automation Engine when authentication mode is set to LOCAL or LOCAL_REMOTE.

Resolution

It will be fixed in Automation Engine package 21.0.5 HF1.

AE 21.0.5 HF1 will be available shortly.
