Issue/Introduction

Applications Manager upgrade or Install may fail with the below error:

****  Automation Engine, Ip, User name, Oracle id - updated *****
Loading Time Zone data
SQL*Loader-523: error 4294967294 writing to file (load_timezone.log)
SQL*Loader-2026: the load was aborted because SQL Loader cannot continue.
SQL*Loader-523: error 4294967294 writing to file (load_timezone.log)
Master Time Zone set
Importing STATIC
*************** Import Failed **********************
Fatal Error occurred - check the log

Environment

Release : 9.3.x, 9.4.x

Component : CA Automic Applications Manager (AM)

 

Resolution

This error may occur if Oracle Home is set to one version of Oracle (e.g Oracle 12c) and sqlloader is used from another version or Oracle (e.g. Oracle 18c).

Make sure the Oracle environment is configured correctly.
