Data generates and displays with 4-hour time delay in Dashboard Designer when raw data option is chosen

Issue/Introduction

The chart below was created using the OC Dashboard Designer.

There are 12 series but only 4 of them are showing data. The rest (8) were enabled for data generation today so their data points are expected to be minimal but while Groups -> Metrics Viewer generates the latest relevant data for the all 12 series, the dashboard doesn't.

What would be the cause and how can I get this fixed so they are completely in sync?

How can I make sure the dashboard shows the latest data without delay so the user can rely on the supposed-to-be LIVE dashboard?

Right now we are seeing a delay of 4 hours despite all systems being in sync and keeping the same correct time.

Environment

• Release: 20.4

Cause

• Defect in CU6 and CU7 when the dashboard widget is configured to use 'Series Data Source Type' as 'Metric.'

Resolution

• UIM 20.4 CU7 test build with hotfix resolved the dashboard data time delay issue (ump_dashboard-20.4.7-TB-20230626.083146-2.zip).
