'GSVX179E GSVXASCT not APF authorized' is displayed and STC doesn’t start

Issue/Introduction

Registered the LOADLIB of r17.0 in the APF, but the following message is displayed and STC is not started.

Are there any other resources besides LOADLIB that need to be registered?

 

   GSVX179E GSVXASCT not APF authorized

 

 

Environment

Release: 17.0

OS: z/OS

Resolution

GSVXASCT was one of the module names available before SYSVIEW r16.0.

Make sure that the pre-r16.0 prefix.CNM4SCFG is not specified in the STC execution JCL of SYSVIEW r17.0.
