Question:
What can cause a S0C4 in an ASL program with a truncated MK4S701 diagnostic display?
Typically when VISION:Builder abends it produces a diagnostic display that begins with MK4S701
and contains clues as to the source of the problem to assist with a rapid resolution.
The MK4S701 display is typically 1/2 to 2 pages long and terminates with an MK4S702 message.
In the case of an ASL program where fixed format is used for Run Control, if the MK4S701 display
is truncated immediately after the registers, verify there is an ER statement preceding the PROC statement.
