I have just installed the latest release of CA-ACF2, I would like to know if there is a way to verify the level of CA-ACF2 that is running on our z/OS system?
The best way to verify the level of CA-ACF2 running on your z/OS system is to issue the SHOW STATE sub-command of the ACF command.
This command is issued as follows:
ACF
SHOW STATE
The beginning information of the SHOW STATE output provides the following information:
Note: The above SHOW STATE indicates the z/OS release is in IBM's format of MVS SPn.n.n where the last two numbers is the release.
The SHOW STATE command also includes many more details related to the CA-ACF2 operating environment such as password controls, SYSID information, backup procedures etc.
For more information related to the SHOW STATE command, review the CA-ACF2 Administrators Guide.
