Display release or issue other commands outside SOLVE / Netmaster

Issue/Introduction

Is there a way that  we can display the Netmaster or Solve version without the operator console?

E.g. using a stc modify command.

Resolution

Several commands that are generally issued from the SOLVE / Netmaster console can also be issued as MVS modify commands.

For example issuing /F SLVACS,STATUS shows this response which includes the product release.
Note that the output will generally be written to both the system log and the Netmaster activity log.

Some other display commands will also work as MVS modify commands against your STC. Simply try and see if they work.
$$SYSPRO commands do not work; they need to be issued from within the product.
