Automate job submission process using VRM Corequisite Resource

Issue/Introduction

We intend to use VRM Corequisite Resource to control job submission, so it only runs when a CICS region is up.  After capturing a specific message, we will issue a command PRSQA to activate the CRQ resource.  When the region comes down, we will capture the message and issue the PRSQD command, so the CRQ resource is set to DEACTIVATED.  While running some test, our test jobs get  submitted for execution even after PRSQD command is issued.

Resolution

The job being defined was set up as a non executable job. VRM definitions are ignored for non executable jobs.  In order for the VRM  CRQ resource to work, define the  job as an executable job (with EXEC: Y) so that it can go in the ready queue.
