RHEL unable to run the DetectionServerConfigurationUtility because it has already been run.

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to run the DetectionServerConfigurationUtility on a RHEL Server you get a message that it cannot be run because it has already been run.

Environment

Linux/RHEL

Cause

This occurs when the configurationState shows that the configuration has already been run. Usually this is due to a previous installation where the configurationState has not been cleaned up.

Resolution

Reset the configurationState...
Path: /etc/Symantec/DataLossPrevention/DetectionServer/<DLPversion>/Installation
File: configurationState
Change: remove the text at the top "configurationCompleted"

Once this change has been made you should be able to run the DetectionServerConfigurationUtility normally again.
