ACF2CICS Error Message ACFAE028 RSN=08 at CICS Region Startup observed

Issue/Introduction

Observed ACFAE028 - CA-ACF2 CICS Initialization Incomplete RSN=08 at CICS region startup.

Resolution

The common cause of  message ACFAE028 - CA-ACF2 CICS Initialization Incomplete RSN=08 at the startup of a
CICS region using ACF2/CICS is that the appropriate release indicator is not in the ENFPARMS CICSREL parameter.

Another possible cause is that ENF does not have the support module for that release of CICS in its CAILIB.

Instructions to activate the ENF CICS PTF - SO14576:
 
1. Apply the PTF to the system via SMP.
2. Stop and restart ENF with S ENF,,,REINIT.
3. Issue the command ENF REFRESH(CAS9CICS,CASXCICS) or IPL the system.
4. Add `74` to the CICSREL statement in ENFPARMS to load CAS9C74 into common storage.
