Some threshold events have a typo in Alarm View in PC - Voilation
We use regEx to match strings in threshold events.
There is a typo in some events that prevents the match on Violation
This is what we see in Alarm View in PC
Alarm Details :
1) Alarm ID : 857687
2) Alarm Rule ID : 70984
3) Alarm Rule name :GVL_VPN_Mem critical
4) Alarm Duration : 300
5) Alarm Window : 300
6) Alarm Metric Family : Memory
7) Alarm Voilation Rule Details :Utilization > 85.0
Release : 22.2.5 and older
The typo actually exists in spectrum, and is seen in the Alarm View in PC, which is a reflection of alarms seen in spectrum.
Workaround to fix the typo now:
Replace Voilation with Violation in all files:
SPECROOT\SG-Support\CsEvFormat\Event00210da8_en_US
SPECROOT\SG-Support\CsEvFormat\Event0591060c_en_US
SPECROOT\SG-Support\CsEvFormat\Event05c40010_en_US
SPECROOT\SG-Support\CsEvFormat\Event05c40011_en_US
SPECROOT\SG-Support\CsEvFormat\Event05c40012_en_US
SPECROOT\SG-Support\CsEvFormat\Event0622001c_en_US
SPECROOT\SG-Support\CsEvFormat\EventTables\hpicfDIPLDv6SourceBindingVoilationsDstIpType_en_US
SPECROOT\SG-Support\CsEvFormat\EventTables\hpicfDIPLDv6SourceBindingVoilationsSrcIpType_en_US
SPECROOT\SS\CsVendor\Cisco_Router\AlertMap
SPECROOT\SS\CsVendor\HP\AlertMap
SPECROOT\SS\CsVendor\RadwareLP\AlertMap
And reload events in spectrum.
New instances of the alarm will no longer have the typo.
This will be fixed in a future release of dx NetOps - DE559225
