Can OTP can be set with boundaries on upper/lowercase letters, numbers and special chars in Strong Authentication?

Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to set any kind of rules on the generated codes of a profile regarding a OTP/Activation Code? If OTP can be set with boundaries on upper/lowercase letters, numbers and special chars?

Resolution

We can not specify boundaries, In the algorithm to generate the OTP, we do not have options to define boundaries.

We can configure the length of the alphanumeric OTP like should be 5 or 6 or more digits. If we put these boundaries then the algorithm need to work within which is like restricting to make it more unique every time.

The OTP generation algorithm need to be modified if we want to add boundaries and that will not be possible. This will need design changes in the product and need to be handled by the Enhancement request.
