Issue/Introduction

Sqlserver probe is not working and is in an error state. getting below error. 

Controller: Max. restarts reached for probe 'sqlserver' (command = sqlserver_monitor.exe) 

In the Windows Application log:

Environment

• Release: 20.4
• Component: sqlserver probe v5.60
• Operating System: Windows 2019

Cause

• Known issue in sqlserver probe v5.60
• Test Connection was failing when the TLS option was enabled in the sqlserver probe version 5.50 and 5.60 and this issue was fixed in sqlserver 5.60-HF1.

 

Resolution

• Upgrade the sqlserver probe to version 5.60HF1
• The hotfix can be downloaded from the DX UIM hotfix site: DX Unified Infrastructure Management - Cumulative Updates & Patches
