Copy in Progress never stops

Issue/Introduction

While copying a project using Copy functionality ,'Copy in progress' status never ends and new project is not getting copied/created irrespective of all the necessary rights provided 

 

Environment

Release : 16.1.0

Cause

When the copy functionality is used a background job is run, however if for some reason for that user any of the job instance (ODF Object Copy Background Job) is in Not Scheduled State, in this case no new job instance  (ODF Object Copy Background Job) will kick off. 

The reason for job instance (ODF Object Copy Background Job)  to get into not scheduled state is unknown at this point 

Resolution

• Clarity Admin should check for job instance (ODF Object Copy Background Job) state, click on the job which is in not scheduled state to check with which user it got initiated 

• If any of the instance (ODF Object Copy Background Job) is in not scheduled state can be deleted to overcome the issue
