Jaspersoft Domain Adhoc reports - Filter Timestamp conversion issue

Issue/Introduction

We migrated our Jaspersoft server (ET to PT) and when creating adhoc reports in Filters when we entered 2023-02-11 00:00:00 and noticed in the query converted to be '2023-02-10 21:00:00'. Will the old data and ad hoc views be affected by the time zone conversion?

Resolution

• The time reflected in the query as date will always be translated to server time, which is PST
• Regarding the old data. The date should be shown in the correct timezone as this is a JVM setting in Jaspersoft
• We do recommend to check the ad hoc views with filters to make sure they are set right, just in case
