Configure the search text limit, currently set to 100,000 records OM Web Viewer for z

Issue/Introduction

Some users, when viewing very large reports (several million rows), try to use the built-in search of Web Viewer 14, but it stops after a few tens of thousands of rows for performance reasons. Is there a parameter to manage the number of rows searched on each click?  Is it more appropriate to save the file locally in this case?

Resolution

The limit for searching can be controlled by setting parameter SEARCH_TEXT_LIMIT in the ConfigFile.cfg. The default is 100,000 records (e.g. SEARCH_TEXT_LIMIT = "100000";).

Note: Please keep in mind that the higher you set this number the more resources will be used on the server side and the longer the request will take.
