Issue/Introduction

Getting CA-7.012 when issuing a CA 7 command from a batch terminal job (BTI).  Based on security setting for SASSSECI, I have authority to issue to run this and the command  does works when logged on to the terminal.

BSTR-00  *** INPUT TO BATCH TERMINAL ***

CA-7.012 REQUEST FOR COMMAND ACCESS DENIED BY CA-7.

Resolution

The batch BTI job requires the input card to start in column 1.  The CA-7.012 is occurring because the input card not starting in column 1.

/LOGON ********
 LJOB,JOB=*,LRUNDATE=(23040,23045),LRUNTIME=(0001,2359)                  <==this should start in column 1
/LOGOFF

Make the correction noted above and run BTI again to issue the command.
