Issue/Introduction

JASPER REPORT SERVER is delivered along with SDM 17.3 and 17.4.

Does the license allow to use that JASPER REPORT SERVER in multiple instances along with other products/data sources?

Is this permitted by the Jasper SERVER license from Broadcom?

Environment

CA Service Desk Manager 17.3 and 17.4

Resolution

Jasper Report license that is provided encompasses the use of Jasper with just Broadcom products.  As such, it will not be possible to connect the given Jasper components supplied by Broadcom over to a third party app and/or its DB instance.
