Issue/Introduction

Two questions about the RC4 protocol in the CA Gateway:

1. Does the CA Gateway Service use the RC4 protocol?
2. The CA Gateway is integrated with Active Directory. Is the RC4 protocol used in this integration?

Environment

API Gateway 9.4, 10.X

Resolution

1. The RC4 protocol is considered to be a weak cipher (TLS 1.0 and 1.1) and it's disabled in Gateway 10.1. You may be able to enable the weak cipher (at your own risk). 

2. If Active Directory is currently configured to the Gateway, it's probably not using the RC4 protocol (even if the protocol is available on Active Directory).
