DFHIC0360 error with ACF2 and CICS 6.1

Issue/Introduction

While trying to access CICS regions via WUI browser, CICS job log shows the following message: 

DFHIC0360 AN ATTEMPT TO ESTABLISH SECURITY FOR USERID logonid HAS FAILED. 

TRANSACTION ACFT CANNOT BE STARTED WITHOUT A TERMINAL. SAF CODES ARE (X'00000008',X'00000000'). ESM CODES ARE (X'00000004',X'00000000')

Why is this error occurring for one region and not others?

Resolution

PTF LU09057 is needed for CICS regions that have the same non-terminal and terminal default ids. 

A CICS region that has different default ids for non-terminal and terminal defaults is not affected and hence the resolving PTF is not required.
