Checking if element which originated a load module has changed

Issue/Introduction

Is there a way to easily see the difference between the load and the source elements in Endevor?

Resolution

This is possible only if the module has Endevor footprints, because the footprint points to the exact source level of the element which was used to generate the program. This source level can then be compared with the current source level.

So if (and only if) the modules were created with Endevor footprints, it would be possible to see what version of what element generated them.

Check the footprints for elements that are still around using:
- Display Footprint via PANEL (go to the Environment >> 1 Display >> 2 Footprint) It is possible to navigate to the element displays.
or
- Footprint Reports  (CONRPT81) => if willing to run a batch job instead of using the panels to examine the modules one by one.

The footprint would point to a particular element and source level. That source level could be compared with the current source level of the element.
