Issue/Introduction

Compared to all other Clarity services, when you stop and remove them on Windows, this would also stop and remove them in Windows Services services.msc. This does not happen for ppmbroker, it remains in the Services list indefinitely.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Install new Clarity 16.1.0 or 16.1.1 on Windows
  2. Add, deploy and start all Clarity services, including app, bg, beacon, nsa, ppmbroker
  3. Open Windows Administrative Tools - Services and note the services are now successfully added there
  4. Now in Command Prompt, run the command:

service stop remove all

  1. Once it's completed, refresh the Services window

Expected Results: ppmbroker, as all the services to be removed

Actual Results: ppmbroker service will remain in the list of Services although we ran the remove command and there was no error in ppmbroker-system log

Environment

Release : 16.1.0, 16.1.1

Resolution

This is DE68513, fixed in 16.1.2
