Issue/Introduction

When we added our new Juniper MX204 Internet Routers to the SNMPCollector probe we were able to add it however when we drill down, there is no interfaces choice for us to see the interface metrics on the device. I would like to know if we can have this certified or what we need to do so we can get our interface metrics on these devices as well?

I am attaching a screen shot of how the device looks in the SNMP Collector and all the info I have on it, I am also attaching a .walk file from sapwalk in case you need that as well.

Environment

  • Release: 20.4

Resolution

Currently, Juniper model JNP204 [MX204] is not a supported device at:

   https://devicesupport.broadcom.com/

You can choose to self-certify the device by following this KB Article:

How to perform self-certification for a device with the SNMP collector probe
https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/108038

and/or we can ask for it to be added to the probe but that will probably take more time.

In the meantime, snmpget can be used.
