Cannot add NFA as DataSource message Error establishing an SSL connection with the data source

Firewalls active

Resolution

Disabe Firewall

On NetOps Portal web page go in and remove Inventory->Data Source Orphan Groups.

After re-added the NFA as DataSource

 

Additional Information

If the problem persist:

Check the /opt/CA/PerformanceCenter/DM/logs/DMService.log file

Run:

curl -v http://NFA:80/ReporterDataSource/DataSourceWS.asmx?wsdlcurl -v 
http://NFA:8681/NFARS/ribsource/rib/soap?wsdl

NFA is NFA hostname and IP Address

 

Try the same URLs from a browser on NFA and if it work fine on NFA but not curl, then maybe the return path from NFA->Portal is not allowed on network.

 

If all software firewalls are disabled on Portal and NFA, then something on network is blocking the return path.

 

Can NFA reach Portal EM from browser on NFA box?   http://PC:8281/EventManager/EventManagerWS.asmx?wsdl
