RAI Server, Launch Express and TASKLIB relationship

Issue/Introduction

These three products are installed.

RAI Server 4.4.2

Launch Express 1.2.5

TASKLIB+ 2.1.3

1)How are these related after Broadcom acquired RAI?

 2)Are the versions still supported by Broadcom?

 3) Is there specific maintenance required to run them on z/OS 2.5?

Release : 1.2

Resolution

1) The RAI Server has been decommissioned in the latest GA release (R20.1) of the RAI product suites and is no longer needed/distributed.   
There are now only 3 suites available, namely 
SMART RESTART which includes SMART RRSAF
TASKLIB+ which includes LAUNCH EXPRESS 
and finally 
RLX which includes all the different RLX and RDX features.

2) The product versions referenced are no longer supported as of January 15, 2023.

3) Specifically regarding z/OS V2.5, there was 1 defect identified during certification testing which requires a
"compatibility PTF: LU02541 for R20" to be installed. 
This fix was later incorporated into the code base for R20.1. 

4) Note it is now required that the Broadcom CCS Common Services component must be installed and
running as a prerequisite for the R20.1 release for all the RAI products.
