Can an Ideal user be created through SQL statements?

Issue/Introduction

I know an Ideal user can be created in the online menus and in batch through DDUPDATE ,but wanted to know if an Ideal user could be created through SQL statements?

The reason for the question is we are trying to implement a new system in place that would be beneficial to use SQL statements instead of DDUPDATE

Resolution

IDEAL R&D mentioned this is not possible currently.
