Issue/Introduction

You need to determine if the device id reported in a DLP incident is accurate.

 

Resolution

Symantec Data Loss Prevention provides the DeviceID.exe for Windows removable devices and the DeviceID for Mac removable devices. Please refer to the Using the Device ID Utilities help page for more information.
