Issue/Introduction

Executing our Opera >SHUTDWN command to bring down z/OS. 

We do a WTOR at a certain point to verify CICS is shut down before proceeding.  After replying GO, we get the CAIW190E message and security violations with each command.  The system required a manual shutdown. 

The shutdown procedure has not been changed recently.

Resolution

Product is EOL on July 2024. Customer should be aware for planning purposes.

Stay signed onto the console where the initial command was entered from since that console is used to enter all Action commands. Stay signed on until all commands have been generated and processed.

Or, enter the initial Shutdown command from a physical MCS console that remains alive,
