Issue/Introduction

In the

/opt/CA//PerformanceCenter/DM/logs/DMService.log

We are seeing the error;

ERROR | SpectrumStatusService/Thread | YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS,### | com.ca.im.portal.dm.status.SpectrumStatusServiceImpl
#####       | Subscription for data source <spectrumdatasource> (<dsid>) appears to have expired. Recreating subscription.

 

Environment

Release : 21.2, 22.2

Cause

This is just the recreation of the AlarmStatus subscription made by the DX Netops Portal to the integrated Spectrum OneClick to get AlarmStatus information via REST

Resolution

This can be seen from time to time if the Alarm Status subscription needs to be recreated.
Unless this is a constantly repeated error, the error can be ignored as the subscription is recreated.
