Unable to uninstall the AAI Insight Reporting Server 2.0 after an upgrade.

Issue/Introduction

Unable to uninstall the AAI Insight Reporting Server 2.0 after an upgrade using the command below:

sudo rpm -e terma-bi-linux-installer

 

The uninstall fails because it is looking for /opt/bi-server/installer/TIB_js-jrs_8.1.0_bin_upgrade. 

 

If you attempt to install or upgrade again a messages saying the package, terma-bi-linux-installer-2.0.0-202301.x86_64 already exists.

AAI 6.4.5

Insight Reporting Server 2.0

Resolution

After attempting other uninstall methods which fail you can use the command below which will remove the rpm package.

 

rpm -e --noscripts terma-bi-linux-installer-2.0.0-202301.x86_64
